Our Team
Ashley Kidder
Co-Founder, Chairperson, and Secretary
As a former high school French teacher, Ashley didn’t just teach language — she inspired connection, curiosity, and confidence in her students. Her passion for building community has defined her career, whether in the classroom, as a small business owner, or as a nonprofit volunteer.
Throughout her teaching career, Ashley sponsored an array of student activities, including Student Council, Dance Club, Freshman Transition Club, After Prom, Powder Puff Football, and Volleyball. Her leadership extended to serving as a union representative, guiding international student trips, and serving as department chair.
Now a self-employed photographer, Ashley continues to bring her creativity and connection-building skills to her work, capturing meaningful moments that tell powerful stories. Outside of her professional endeavors, she remains invested in her community, championing public transit as a vital link that strengthens community connections and volunteering when she can at Denver’s only nonprofit movie theater.
Ashley was born in Palo Alto, California, and moved to Colorado in 1995. She received a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 2008 and a master of business administration from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2024.
